Fiorentina push forward on what will surely be their final attacking move of the night, but Dias can't find a way past Asamoah deep down the right wing and ends up fouling the Ghanaian before he can swing a cross into the penalty area.
90' +3
Audacious effort from Pjanic! Fiorentina pile as many bodies forward as possible as they try to find a late, late equaliser. Pjanic manages to win the ball back easily before trying to beat Sportiello with a 45-yard strike, but, unsurprisingly, the midfielder's effort bounces comfortably wide of the goal.
90' +2
S. Lichtsteiner enters the game and replaces S. Sturaro.
Juventus have made a late substitution, with Sturaro making way for Stephan Lichtsteiner.
90' +1
And now Simeone goes close! The resulting corner is swung towards the near post and manages to find the striker, who rises high but can't hit the target with his bullet header.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be four minutes of added time.
89'
Huge chance for Dias to equalise late on! He breaks into the right-hand side of the Juventus penalty area after managing to carve the hosts' defence in two, setting himself up with a great opportunity to shoot. He doesn't do so quickly enough, however, and Barzagli is able to get a touch on the ball to poke it behind for a corner.
87'
A well-placed cross from Gaspar isn't fully dealt with by the Juventus defence, allowing it to deflect back out to Dias. The substitute quickly gets a shot away, but his effort is charged down and fails to trouble Szczesny, who has barely had to lift a finger this evening.
85'
Pjanic goes close! Rodrigo Bentancur wins back possession for the home side deep inside the Fiorentina half of the pitch and kick-starts a quick counter-attack. He moves the ball over to Matuidi, who then fires in a low cross that somehow misses Higuain at the near post. The ball rolls over to Pjanic though, and the Bosnian then unleashes a low strike that Sportiello does well to keep out with a decent save.
83'
Biraghi hasn't been presented with too many chances to push forward, but he's able to do so after Sturaro briefly loses track of the Fiorentina full-back. He then tries to whip a cross into the penalty area, but he ends up losing control of the ball and Juventus can easily hold on.
82'
F. Bernardeschi enters the game and replaces J. Cuadrado.
The home fans roar and the visitors jeer as former Fiorentina player Federico Bernardeschi comes on to replace Cuadrado.

Description
80'
Brilliant interception by Pezzella! Space opens up for Cuadrado after Fiorentina are unable to carve out a chance on goal. The Colombian sprints down the right wing and then tries to tee up Higuain on the edge of the penalty area, but Pezzella is there to poke the ball behind with a vital piece of defending.
78'
Fiorentina patiently work the ball around over on the right flank as they desperately try to find an equaliser. Gaspar is eventually able to fire a cross into a dangerous position inside the box, but Cuadrado is there to get a foot on the ball at the vital moment.
76'
Almost another goal for Mandzukic! The big Croatian makes an excellent run into the left-hand side of the Fiorentina penalty area and towards the far post, where he latches onto a lovely lofted pass. He immediately sends a downward header towards goal, and it's one that Sportiello is just about able to get a hand on.
75'
M. Pjanić enters the game and replaces P. Dybala.
Dybala, who has been surprisingly quiet this evening, trudges off the pitch to be replaced by Miralem Pjanic for the final quater of an hour.
73'
It looks to be a case of damage limitation for Fiorentina now that they're down to 10 men. They're sitting deep and trying their best to soak up the pressure being put on them by a determined Fiorentina front line.
71'
Thumping strike from Cuadrado! The Colombian player causes more problems for Biraghi as he storms down the right wing. He then cuts inside and shoots, and he forces Sportiello into making a smart stop with a quick diving save.
69'
C. Sánchez enters the game and replaces C. Théréau.
Fiorentina have made their third and final change, and it's a defensive one, with Thereau making way for Carlos Sanchez.
68'
Off the line by Gaspar! Another excellent low cross from Cuadrado finds its way through the visitors' defence and over to Mandzukic at the far post, but the Croatian can't make it 2-0 due to an outstretched foot from Gaspar on the line.
67'
Cuadrado pokes the resulting free-kick back to Dybala on the edge of the Fiorentina penalty area, but the Argentine is quickly closed down and can't guide his first-time shot through the sea of bodies camped in front of him.
66'
M. Badelj gets a second yellow card and is sent off.
NO PENALTY! After checking the screen, the referee changes his mind and decides that Matuidi was fouled just a yard or so outside of the box. He then shows the Croatian a second yellow card, piling more pressure on a struggling Fiorentina side.
65'
Time for the VAR! Matuidi cuts inside from the left wing on a wonderful run and sprints towards the Fiorentina penalty area. He easily gets the better of Badelj and is brought down by a clumsy challenge from the midfielder on the edge of the penalty area. The referee initially points to the spot but then decides to consult the VAR to make sure where contact was made.
64'
D. Astori gets yellow.
Higuain looks set to charge deep into the visitors' half of the pitch and carve out a chance on goal, but he's cynically fouled by Astori, who becomes the latest player to be shown a yellow card.
63'
Thereau goes close to equalising! Juventus clumsily lose possession over on the left flank, gifting the ball to Thereau. The Frenchman cuts inside quickly and then shoots, and his bouncing effort flies just wide of Szczesny's far post.
61'
Gil Dias enters the game and replaces M. Benassi.
Fiorentina have made another substitution as they try to find a way back into the game. This time it's Gil Dias who comes on to take the place of Marco Benassi.
60'
Great chance for Juventus to double their lead! Cuadrado darts into the right-hand side of the Fiorentina box on a wonderful run before fizzing a dangerous pass across the face of goal. Both Higuain and Mandzukic are there, but, somehow, neither of them can make contact with the ball.
58'
Mandzukic holds the ball up well over on the left wing after dropping deep to find the ball. He then spins and chips a pass down the flank and into the path of Asamoah, who tries to run onto it but loses out to Gaspar near to the byline.
56'
It's certainly been an impressive start to the second half for Juventus, who look much better than they did before the break. They're moving the ball around with purpose and flair, and they're starting to make life difficult for Fiorentina's under-pressure back line.
54'
Juventus quickly lose possession deep inside their own half of the pitch and allow Simeone to get a shot away from 30 yards out, but the striker's audacious effort fails to test Szczesny and flies comfortably wide of the goal.
52'
M. Mandžukić has scored a goal for Juventus! Assist by J. Cuadrado.
That really was a lovely ball into the box from Cuadrado. The Colombian has impressed this evening, and he's been causing plenty of problems for Biraghi with his impressive movement.
GOAL! Juventus have finally taken the lead! A well-placed bouncing cross from Cuadrado somehow isn't dealt with by the Fiorentina defenders before picking out Mandzukic, who pulls off a great diving header at the far post to beat Sportiello with the first effort on target.
51'
Bruno Gaspar enters the game and replaces V. Laurini.
Fiorentina have made their first alteration of the evening, with Laurini making way for Bruno Gaspar in a like-for-like switch.
50'
M. Badelj gets yellow.
Barzagli embarks on a wonderful run as he darts through a sea of purple in the middle of the pitch. He does really well to penetrate the Fiorentina half before taking on Badelj, who sticks out a foot and cynically fouls the Juventus defender, earning him a yellow card.
48'
Excellent play by Thereau! The 34-year-old embarks on a wonderful run as he easily gets the better of Sturaro. He skips into the left-hand side of the Juventus box and then chips a cross over to Simeone, who tries to reach the ball but can't quite get the better of Barzagli in front of goal.
46'
We're underway once again!
45' +1
Vital interception by Sportiello! Higuain and Cuadrado link up really well over on the right flank, allowing the Colombian to sprint into space before firing a low cross into the heart of the box. His pass looks as if it might pick out Mandzukic, but Sportiello is there to get a hand on the ball.
45'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be just one minute of added time.
44'
Higuain has been very quiet tonight, but he's able to spin and shoot on the edge of the visitors' penalty area and wins a corner for Juventus after his strike is deflected wide of the far post. The set-piece is easily dealt with, however, as Sportiello charges out to comfortably collect the ball without too many problems.
43'
A slight mistake by Fiorentina gifts possession back to Juventus and allows them to counter-attack through Asamoah. The left-back charges towards the box before teeing up Mandzukic to cross, but the Croatian's ball into the box can only find the head of Astori.
41'
Sturaro is tripped over by a poor attempted tackle from Biraghi, resulting in another free-kick for Juventus in a decent position. The cross in is another underwhelming one, however, and once again Fiorentina are easily able to deal with the minimal danger.
39'
Cuadrado showcases fancy footwork over on the right flank before eventually managing to fire a low cross into the Fiorentina box. It's only cleared as far as Rugani, who launches a first-time cross back into the penalty area that safely sails straight into the hands of Sportiello.
37'
V. Laurini gets yellow.
Asamoah tries to cut inside from the left wing and get the better of Laurini, but he's clumsily fouled by the Fiorentina full-back and has to settle for a free-kick. The hosts aren't able to make it count though, as the cross into the penalty area is overhit and fails to find a white and black shirt.
35'
Almost a great chance for Chiesa! Simeone, who has put in a really good shift so far, charges towards the left-hand side of the Juventus box before poking a cross over to Chiesa. The winger is all alone in front of goal, but Simeone's attempted pass is slightly overhit and sails just past the Italian's outstretched leg.
33'
A curling cross in from the left flank fails to pick out a purple shirt in front of goal, but the ball bounces over to Laurini on the right wing. The Frenchman quickly unleashes a thumping volley, but his strike smashes off Simeone and behind for a goal-kick.
31'
Laurini does well to dispossess Mandzukic over on the right wing, denying the Croatian a way into the box. He then tries to kick-start a quick counter-attack with a lofted pass up to Simeone, but the youngster's run forward is slightly mistimed and the linesman's flag is raised as soon as he heads towards the ball.
29'
Juventus quickly come back once again as they continue putting pressure on the visitors' defence. This time it's Cuadrado who's at the heart of the action before setting up Kwadwo Asamoah to send another dangerous cross into the penalty area, but once again Fiorentina are just about able to deal with the danger.
28'
Sturaro gets himself into a good position over on the right wing and quickly whips a curling cross into the heart of the Fiorentina box. It manages to pick out Higuain, but the Argentine can't send his header past Davide Astori and loses out to the centre-back on the penalty spot.
26'
Juventus started well, but they're now finding it difficult to find a way through Fiorentina's rigid back line. Once again, an attempted attack from the home side fails to come to anything and allows the visitors to counter-attack quickly, but this time Barzagli can clear the danger without too many problems after latching onto a bouncing pass from Simeone.
24'
No, they can't. Jordan Veretout steps up and unleashes a curling shot, but there's far too much power behind his strike and it ends up sailing high over the top of the crossbar.
23'
A. Barzagli gets yellow.
Giovanni Simeone, who has seen little of the ball so far this evening, does well to shake off Daniele Rugani before charging forward on a determined run. He heads towards the Juventus penalty area before being clumsily fouled by Barzagli, resulting in a yellow card for the defender and a free-kick for Fiorentina in an excellent position. Can they make it count?
22'
Another attempted Juventus attacking move breaks down, and Fiorentina break away on a quick counter-attack. Thereau sprints down the left wing on a great run before seemingly being fouled by Stefano Sturaro, but the referee doesn't agree with the Frenchman and tells him to get back to his feet.
20'
Let off for Fiorentina! Higuain bursts into the Fiorentina box and latches onto a clever pass before looking to shoot. He's clumsily brought down by Vincent Laurini before he's able to do so, but, luckily for the Frenchman, the linesman's flag is already raised for offside.
18'
A bit of space opens up over on the right flank, gifting Fiorentina with a chance to carve out a first chance on goal. They're unable to do so, however, as Barzagli darts across the pitch to comfortably deal with Federico Chiesa.
16'
After spending most of the opening quarter of an hour on the back foot, Fiorentina are eventually able to push forward on their first real attack of the evening. Milan Badelj fires a decent lofted pass down the right wing and into the path of Cyril Thereau, who is in a good position out wide but can't get the better of Mario Mandzukic.
14'
Dybala charges towards the Fiorentina penalty area on a marauding run before trying to set up Juan Cuadrado to his right. The Argentine's pass is clever one, but it's slightly overhit and the Colombian can't quite keep the ball from running out of play.
12'
Fiorentina clumsily lose possession, allowing Blaise Matuidi to power forward before being fouled from behind. The resulting free-kick is sent short and worked over to Dybala, who tries to find space over on the left wing but runs into traffic.
10'
Juventus patiently work the ball around inside the Fiorentina half of the pick before Dybala picks it up over on the right flank. He's quickly closed down by a group of purple shirts and eventually clattered into by Cristiano Biraghi, who looks perplexed at the referee's decision to award the hosts another free-kick.
8'
Almost an opener for the home side! It's been a blisteringly quick start by Juventus, who are all over their opponents at the moment. Once again, they're able to win themselves a free-kick in a very dangerous position, and Dybala ends up curling his impressive strike just wide of the near post. Sportiello wasn't getting anywhere near that!
6'
Dybala causes problems for the visitors' backline once again, and this time he wins Juventus a free-kick after being clumsily fouled over on the right flank. The Argetine steps up and curls a dangerous cross over to the far post, where the ball almost finds Andrea Barzagli but is just about collected under pressure by Marco Sportiello.
4'
Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain link up well just outside of the Fiorentina box, setting up the big striker to get a shot away. He's unable to do so though, as he's closed down quickly and eventually dispossessed.
2'
Paulo Dybala looks hungry, and he's the first player to break forward on a determined attack. He breaks into the Fiorentina penalty area and does well to muscle his way past two players before taking on German Pezzella, who holds off the forward before being fouled from behind.
1'
We're off! Juventus get us underway, attacking from left to right.
Good evening and welcome to our live text commentary of today’s Serie A game between Juventus and Fiorentina at the Allianz Stadium.
After managing to pick up four victories from as many games, tonight’s clash represents Juventus’ first real test of the new Serie A season. It’s one the reigning champions will be looking to excel in, as, despite currently boasting a 100% record, they haven’t looked entirely convincing so far, largely due to the departures of Leonardo Bonucci and Dani Alves and injuries suffered by Claudio Marchisio and Sami Khedira.
Defensive frailties were particularly on show against Genoa in their second game of the new campaign, and the Bianconeri then went on to be torn apart by Barcelona in their opening Champions League group stage clash. However, the Old Lady have been helped immeasurably by Paulo Dybala, who has started the season in world-class form and already has eight goals to his name from just four league appearances.
Fiorentina suffered a disappointing start to the new domestic campaign with defeats against both Inter and Sampdoria in their opening two games, but they have tightened up over the last couple of weeks thanks to tactical tinkering from new boss Stefano Pioli. They comfortably thrashed Hellas Verona 5-0 to pick up their first victory before going on to earn a hard-fought 2-1 win at home to Bologna on Saturday.
Pioli has struggled against both Juventus and Massimiliano Allegri during his time as a manager, with only three of the 14 games against one or the other resulting in draws and none ending in victories. Historically, this part of Turin hasn't been a happy hunting ground for Fiorentina either, as they haven’t won a Serie A game here since March 2008.
There’s just under 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
Massimiliano Allegri has decided to make four changes to the Juventus side that started the victory against Sassuolo on the weekend, with Wojciech Szczesny, Stefano Sturaro, Kwadwo Asamoah and Rodrigo Bentancur coming into the starting line-up to replace Gianluigi Buffon, Stephan Lichtsteiner, Alex Sandro and Miralem Pjanic, respectively.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina boss Stefano Pioli has made just one alteration to the team that featured in their last outing, with Bruno Gaspar making way for Vincent Laurini.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: JUVENTUS 0-0 FIORENTINA
It's proving to be a frustrating evening for Juventus, who are yet to have a single effort on target. Fiorentina have sat back and defended well, leaving the likes of Dybala and Higuain unusually quiet inside the final third of the pitch. La Viola have also managed to cause a few problems when counter-attacking, but, despite a good shift being put in by Simeone, they've failed to trouble Wojciech Szczesny.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: JUVENTUS 1-0 FIORENTINA
Juventus weren't at their best this evening, but they're nonetheless able to leave with three hard-earned and much-needed points. They looked off the pace in the first half before improving after the break, and a wonderful cross from Cuadrado managed to pick out Mandzukic to head in the only goal of the game. Fiorentina didn't show enough urgency after that, and they were seriously hurt by a second yellow card for Badelj, who clumsily fouled Matuidi on the edge of the visitors' penalty area.
The victory means that Juventus remain equal on points with Napoli at the top of the table heading into this weekend's derby game against Torino. Fiorentina, meanwhile, have dropped down to 10th place with six points from five games, and they must now face Atalanta in their next Serie A outing.
