Nyom races down the right and that's the end of stoppage time!
90' +3
MISS! Rondon just can't get his goal! He's got four around him, but he's the only one really working hard and battling for the ball, and he spins away from them all before firing his shot just over the top from the right-hand side!
90' +1
MISS! Rondon works a yard with some quick feet, but his eventual shot is disappointing and dragged wide of the target.
90'
FIVE added minutes to go at The Hawthorns.
87'
After so many substitutions, the game has lost its rhythm somewhat - but that will suit West Brom just fine as they hold on to their two-goal lead.
84'
G. McAuley enters the game and replaces J. Evans.
Evans is replaced by McAuley after looking to be in a litle bit of pain for that few minutes. He's roundly cheered off by the home support.
81'
A. Nyom enters the game and replaces C. Dawson.
Dawson is withdrawn for Nyom for the last 10 minutes. Perhaps it's precautionary as much as tactical followng his clash of heads with Hegazi.
79'
J. Livermore enters the game and replaces J. Rodríguez.
Pardew brings Livermore on for Rodriguez, and goes to a 4-5-1 for the remainder of the game.
76'
B. Kayal enters the game and replaces D. Pröpper.
Kayal replaces Propper as Hughton makes his third and final change in an attempt to salvage something from the game.
74'
Knockaert creates some panic in the box as he drives at Gibbs and crosses, causing Dawson and Hegazi to clash heads and both have stayed down.
Minute
Description
73'
BLOCK! Brighton look reinvigorated following the change of formation, and Dawson and Hegazi are forced to concede successive corners as the visitors crank up the pressure.
68'
MISS! Rondon is played in behind by Barry and drives into the box, but can only find the side-netting with his low, left-footed effort.
67'
MISS! Knockaert skies an effort wildly over the bar after Murray fed him in the box! How did he miss?! The goal was gaping there!
66'
S. Baldock enters the game and replaces P. Groß.
Gross comes off for Baldock as Hughton swtiches to a 4-4-2. The German scored Brighton’s first ever Premier League goal in the reverse fixture back in September – he scored twice and assisted the other in Brighton’s 3-1 win. He hasn't had that same impact here though.
65'
Rondon is crowded out with his back to goal as Brighton recover possession. They've not shown their best today - they've been weak from set-pieces and haven't truly threatened in possession either.
62'
Good interplay down the West Brom left sees the Baggies earn a free-kick as Rondon is hacked down on the flank after a good touch to bring the ball down.
59'
Brighton try and work an attack, but it's not quite clicking and a mis-communication down the left sees the ball run for a goal-kick. Just half an hour left to turn this game around for the Seagulls.
55'
C. Dawson has scored a goal for West Bromwich Albion! Assist by C. Brunt.
Brunt's corner is whipped in well, with just enough pace and decent shape, giving Dawson the opportunity to power the ball home!
GOAL! What a header by Dawson! The defender arrives late and meets Brunt's corner really well, heading powerfully into the ground and over a stranded Knockaert on the line! He may well have set his side on ther way to their first Premier League win since August!
54'
Rondon makes a great run into the channel on the left, but his low cross is well turned behind for a corner!
52'
SAVE! Bruno finds himself in space and lines one up from outside the box. His shot is powerful, but straight down the slot for Foster and he can keep hold of it at the second attempt.
51'
MISS! Rodriguez turns on the edge of the box and tries to find the bottom corner, but he's off-balance and skews it wide of the post.
48'
BLOCK! West Brom loft a free-kick towards the right-hand side of the box, but Brighton scramble back to block as Bong gets in the way of Rodriguez's effort!
47'
Knockaert tries to loft one torwards the back stick, but it's overhit and sails out for a goal kick.
46'
S. March enters the game and replaces J. Izquierdo.
An unexpected half-time switch as the impressive Izquierdo is replaced by March. Perhaps the winger picked up a knock of some sort in the first period.
And Brighton get the second half going!
45' +1
Brunt takes a corner form the left that Hegazi tries to head into the middle, but it's cleared away. The Egyptian then tries to loft it back into the area after getting it back from the clearance, but Ryan deals with it. That should be the end of the half.
44'
MISS! Gross play a one-two with Murray and fires one towards the top corner, but it's always just a little too high and it sails harmlessly over. There was good shape on the shot though.
43'
SAVE! Rondon tries a speculative effort from distance, but Ryan takes it into his body well.
42'
SAVE! Rondon slips Dawson in as the defender makes a surging run into the box, but Ryan is out quickly to deny him on the right and his shot is blocked away for a corner.
41'
Brighton are piling forward towards the end of this half, and Pardew will be urging his players to hold their lead until half-time under the mounting pressure.
38'
BLOCK! West Brom defend desperately in their own box, throwing their bodies in front of two shots from inside the area to deny Brighton an equaliser. Dawson in particular made an excellent sliding intervention.
35'
Izquierdo has looked impressive in this half so far, and he's not pleased at being denied a free-kick after being brought down on the touchline as he looked to get forward. He's shown skill, pace, and trickery - a nightmare for defenders.
31'
BLOCK! Phillips smacks a half-volley at goal from the edge of the box, and Murray is in the way of it, but it looks like his hands are up to protect his face and the ball strikes him on the arm! No penalty is given though!
28'
MISS! Murray's first effort comes back off a defender, and he hits a dipping volley from the rebound that just sails over the top of the bar!
27'
Izquierdo dances his way through several challenges in the West Brom box, but is somewhat harshly penalised for a foul on Barry as they competed for the ball. The winger showed exellent skill and close control there.
24'
Brighton have settled into the game now, and enjoy a spell of possession. They look a lot more comfortable on the ball now than in the opening 10 minutes.
21'
Propper has a go from 25 yards or so that is hit hard, but looks to be dragging miles wide. However, it hits a team-mate and deflects up and into the arms of Foster.
17'
MISS! Brighton try to play a corner along the ground to the edge of the box, but it's woefully underhit and gives West Brom a chance to break quickly through Phillips, who rustles the side-netting with a drive from 30 yards. Perhaps an ill-advised decision to shoot from there.
14'
Phillips takes the ball in from Dawson - who then goes to ground - but the winger drives on and tries to whip the ball in the box, but Ryan is there to catch hold of it.
13'
West Brom still in the ascendancy here, seeing more of the ball and pressing Brighton with vigour when they lose it.
9'
MISS! Dawson nearly grabs a second for the hosts as he stoops to meet a flat, driven corner by Phillps at the near post, but he can't get it on target and it flies wide. Pardew will be very pleased with his side in the opening 10 minutes.
8'
West Brom are looking positive in this game as Phillips drives forward and wins a corner down the right-hand side.
4'
J. Evans has scored a goal for West Bromwich Albion! Assist by J. Rodríguez.
Evans may have scored, but it was all about Rodriguez's flick-on at the front post. Perhaps that's something they've worked on in traning. EIther way, it worked a treat and created a simple opportunity for Evans to power home.
GOAL! Evans puts West Brom in front in less than four minutes! Rodriguez wins an excellent flick-on at the near post and sets Evans up perfectly at the back stick to rise unmarked and power a header into the net from close range! 1-0 West Brom! We didn't expect that kind of a start to this game!
2'
MISS! Izquierdo cuts inside from the left and curls a low effort towards the bottom corner, but it's just a foot outside the post. Positive start from the visitors though.
1'
And West Brom get the game underway!
Hello and welcome to our LIVE coverage of the Premier League fixture between West Brom and Brighton and Hove Albion at The Hawthorns.
The line-ups have been announced and we'll start with the home team.
West Brom XI (4-4-2): Foster; Gibbs, Evans, Hegazi, Dawson; Brunt, Barry, Krychowiak, Phillips; Rodriguez, Rondon
West Brom substitutes: Nyom, Robson-Kanu, Yacob, Livermore, Myhill, McClean, McAuley
Brighton and Hove Albion XI (4-4-1-1): Ryan; Bong, Dunk, Duffy, Bruno; Izquierdo, Propper, Stephens, Knockaert; Gross; Murray
West Brom will be desperate to earn back-to-back wins for the first time since the start of the season, where they kicked their campaign off with three wins in a row in all competitions. In fact, since consecutive 1-0 wins against Bournemouth and Burnley in August, the Baggies have failed to win another Premier League game in the 20 that have followed (D10 L10). It is the longest winless run in their league history, and one that sees them second from bottom in the league table by virtue of goal difference alone, with the fewest wins in the division.
The Baggies have never lost a home league match against Brighton (W5 D4), a run that stretches from 1979 to 1993. Indeed, West Brom have faced Brighton in more home games without defeat than they have any other side in their Football League history (nine).
Brighton won the reverse fixture 3-1 earlier in the season, scoring their first Premier League goals in the process. That victory inspired the Seagulls to two more wins in the five games that followed, but they have since required 13 games to earn their next two victories (D6 L5).
However, Brighton have won three of their last four league games against West Brom. Interestingly, each of the last three league meetings between these sides has finished 3-1 to the home side.
Three changes are made for Alan Pardew's side following their 2-0 FA Cup win over Exeter - the first win in Pardew's tenure. Allan Nyom, Gareth McAuley, and James McClean all drop to the bench as Craig Dawson, Jonny Evans, and Matt Phillips, respectively, take their places.
It is an altogether more changed Brighton side that Chris Hughton has selected, however, with just three players keeping their places from the 2-1 win over Crystal Palace in the FA Cup. Only Gaetan Bong, Dale Stephens, and Jose Izquierdo remain in the starting XI from that game.
West Brom are boosted by the returns of Evans, Dawson, Gibbs, and Phillps to fitness, and all four start today after being considered doubts. They are still without Nacer Chadli and James Morrison, however.
Brighton have lost Chelsea loanee Izzy Brown for the rest of the season after he sustained cruciate knee ligament damage early on in the game against Palace, while Steve Sidwell remains sidelined.
And there's the half-time whistle! The half started with a bang as Evans powered home a header after Rodriguez flicked on a corner, and West Brom looked positive in the opening stages of the first half. Brighton settled into the game, though, and both sides went at each other for the remainder of the half, but neither could add to the scoreline. It's been an entertaining game though, and there's definitely more to come from both in the second half. It's 1-0 to West Brom at the break!
West Brom finally end their 20-game Premier League winless run with a 2-0 victory over Brighton here at the Hawthorns courtesy of two corners. Evans headed in the first after Rodriguez's delightful flick-on in the first half, before Dawson doubled the lead with another header that he powered into the ground into the back of the net! Knockaert then wasted his side's best chance of the game when Murray played him in with the goal gaping, but his first-time effort was miles over the bar! It finishes 2-0 to West Brom as they get their first league win under Pardew.
