R. Lukaku has scored a goal for Manchester United! Assist by M. Rojo.
What is Rojo doing up there? He is the furthest man forward as he delivers a pinpoint cross for Lukaku to net.
GOAL! Lukaku has his goal! United throw men forward and a cross from the left finds the club's topscorer unmarked to sidefoot into the net. Easy. 0-4.
90' +2
United are not done just yet either, though. Lingard lifts a pass into McTominay, but his flicked header does not reach the onrushing Lukaku.
90' +1
CHANCE! In the first of three minutes of stoppage time, Yeovil almost have a consolation. Sowunmi, who missed a big chance at 0-0, nods wide.
89'
J. Lingard has scored a goal for Manchester United! Assist by M. Darmian.
Darmian plays the pass into Lingard, but it is all the England international's own work from that point onwards. The Yeovil defence do not know what to do with him, although Krysiak might be unhappy with how easily he is beaten.
GOAL! How about another United academy graduate? Lingard nets a beauty. He drives at the Yeovil back line and rifles hard and low into the bottom-left corner. 0-3.
88'
A. Gomes enters the game and replaces M. Rashford.
SUB! Marcus Rashford has been the best player on the pitch and he makes way for another young star: 17-year-old Angel Gomes.
CLOSE! What an impact! Gomes instantly takes on James and then looks to beat Krysiak at his near post, instead shooting into the sidenetting.
87'
Yeovil are still pushing. Browne nips inside and tees up Gray, but the curling shot that follows comfortably clears the crossbar. Romero was never troubled.
84'
Rashford is nearly in again! He gets to the ball ahead of Krysiak, but his touch is a little heavy and runs behind, with the goalkeeper just about avoiding contact with the forward.
83'
C. Smith enters the game and replaces L. Wing.
SUB! Wing has picked up a knock, so he makes way for Connor Smith for Yeovil. Surridge had been set to bow out.
81'
S. McTominay gets yellow.
YELLOW! Zoko does really well to shield the ball from McTominay and then rides the tackle to force a booking. The United midfielder's poor pass had presented Yeovil with that opportunity in the first place.
SAVE! James sends a dipping effort towards goal, but Romero is across to meet it. The ball might have been dropping just wide.
Minute
Description
79'
SAVE! Lingard slips in Rashford and only a smart stop from Krysiak denies United a third. Sowunmi clears and Yeovil can regroup.
78'
Brilliant play from Rashford, who outmuscles one defender and shimmies past a couple more, but his pass cannot pick out Lukaku in the area.
77'
SAVE! That's better, though! Dickson crosses from the left and the ball drops for Surridge to shoot. A powerful effort is held by Romero at the second attempt.
But United are straight back on the attack. Shaw runs at James, who stands up well and concedes only a corner.
76'
This game is petering out a little. Yeovil's efforts have waned considerably since the second goal. They are struggling to keep up with United.
74'
Darmian threads a glorious pass through for Lingard, but the substitute cannot find his feet in the area and fails to get a touch on the ball. Yeovil escape.
72'
J. Lingard enters the game and replaces A. Sánchez.
SUB! And that's that as far as Sanchez's debut is concerned. It has been a mixed night, but he departs with his new side two goals up after a smart assist. Not bad. On comes the in-form Jesse Lingard.
71'
The corner comes to nothing, but Sanchez enjoys toying with the Yeovil defenders, turning in stepovers and backheels before scurrying after the ball when the hosts threatened to break.
70'
Sanchez brilliantly, beautifully keeps a United attack alive as he controls Lukaku's switch on the far side. He teases a pass inside for McTominay to push forward and force a corner.
69'
A. Fisher enters the game and replaces J. Green.
SUB! Green bows out and on comes Alex Fisher, who drove down from Motherwell today to sign for Yeovil. This must be quite a surreal experience.
68'
James' cross is cleared and, as the ball drops again on the edge of the United area, Sanchez is back to put in a crucial tackle. The visitors can keep the ball with relative ease again now.
67'
There are challenges flying in all over the pitch and Sanchez is down again. A United attack comes to nothing and Yeovil look to break.
65'
R. Lukaku enters the game and replaces Mata.
SUB! And that is Mata's last action. On comes Lukaku as Mourinho aims to put the game completely out of sight.
64'
OFFSIDE! United are threatening to pull out of sight, but their latest effort is ruled out. Darmian is just about in line as he receives the ball and cross from the right, but Mata strays offside before converting into the empty net.
63'
Yeovil are still not giving up! Zoko attempts an acrobatic effort in the area, but the ball runs through for Romero. Worryingly for the hosts, Romelu Lukaku is readying himself...
61'
Ander Herrera has scored a goal for Manchester United! Assist by A. Sánchez.
GOAL! That should be that. Herrera kills off Yeovil with a firm left-footed drive at the end of an exhilarating counter. 0-2.
Sanchez has his first assist in a United shirt. Mata holds the ball up for the Chilean to take over and he delays his pass to slide Herrera in.
60'
Corner to Yeovil! Zoko battles with Rojo and works room to take the Argentine on again. Rojo stabs the ball behind.
59'
CHANCE! How have United not doubled their lead? Mata spreads a glorious ball wide to Shaw, who feeds Sanchez. The cross is delightful and meets Mata's run, but a crucial challenge diverts the ball away from the Spaniard and into Rashford. He tees up Shaw, but there is no way through a blockade of green and white shirts. Although Carrick prompts another attack, Shaw is blocked off once more. Frantic.
57'
Browne makes a good start and steals the ball from Sanchez. Yeovil are working hard and there will surely be a couple more chances left in this one yet...
56'
R. Browne enters the game and replaces J. Bird.
SUB! A first change sees Bird replaced by Rhys Browne in an attacking move for Yeovil.
55'
Some of Lindelof's defending has been a little rugged to say the least. He dives over the top of Surridge and concedes the foul. The United man is perhaps slightly fortunate to avoid a card.
53'
CHANCE! Better from the hosts! Dickson sends a swirling cross over to the far post and Surridge meets the ball. His header loops up and drops wide, though. Romero would have struggled with an effort from that distance.
52'
Rojo brilliantly cuts out Gray's pass inside, but the Yeovil winger then beats Luke Shaw to the ball. The England full back is relieved to see United have men back to recover possession.
51'
CROSSBAR! Was Sanchez going for goal? From the corner, he clips the top of the crossbar. That would have been some strike on his debut.
50'
Rashford works the ball wide for Sanchez, who slips a pass in to Herrera. The shot is blocked.
CHANCE! Rashford darts into the box and again evades the attention of Sowunmi. He looks certain to double his and United's tally until a crucial challenge sends the ball wide for a corner.
49'
United are well on top here. Darmian cuts in from the right and crosses towards Sanchez, but the ball runs behind.
48'
United's free-kick comes to nothing as Sanchez cannot find Lindelof, but Krysiak is similarly found wanting as he looks to kickstart a swift counter and gifts possession back to the visitors.
47'
O. Sowunmi gets yellow.
YELLOW! Sanchez has taken some rough treatment here and, at the start of the second half, Sowunmi is the latest to smash into the Chilean. Booking.
46'
KICK-OFF: Away we go again!
45' +2
HALF-TIME: Yeovil Town 0 Manchester United 1.
45' +1
There will be just the one minute of additional time in this first half.
45'
Green needlessly concedes possession on the edge of the Yeovil box, but Sanchez fails to pick out Darmian on the overlap and the home winger can breathe again.
44'
Better from Yeovil. Surridge and Gray each hassle Rojo and the latter has room to cross. It's a poor delivery, but the hosts' momentum does not look to have been fatally disrupted by that goal.
42'
The atmosphere has gone a bit flat for the first time as Yeovil look to lift themselves again. James looks shellshocked as his team-mates seek an answer for that awful error.
41'
M. Rashford has scored a goal for Manchester United!
GOAL! Oh dear, oh dear. Rashford punishes some woeful Yeovil defending and United lead. The visiting forward moved the ball on to Sanchez and then took a return pass, but his progress looked to have been stopped by James in the box. The previously impressive defender attempts to shield the ball back to his keeper, though, and allows Rashford to nip in again and finish. 0-1.
40'
WIDE! Opening for Sanchez! Mata pings a pass into the forward's feet and his control is instant. The shot, though, is poor and drags wide.
39'
Despite United's positive spell a few minutes ago, Yeovil will be very happy with how this first half has gone. Mata is the latest visiting forward to fail in his attempts to pick out a team-mate in the area.
37'
SAVE! James steps up and drills a shot straight at Romero, who punches to the edge of the area. Jared Bird's follow-up is blocked and United eventually clear.
36'
Yeovil keep the pressure on, though, and they have a free-kick! Lewis Wing gets away from Carrick and then goes down under the challenge. This is in shooting range...
Nice play from Zoko on the left takes him away from Lindelof not once but twice. However, the subsequent cross is low and easily gathered by a United defender.
35'
Surridge is given a rare opportunity to run at Rojo, but a heavy touch lets the United man off the hook. Yeovil were struggling to get men up in support.
34'
United are just starting to get on top here. Sanchez takes up possession on the left corner of the area and crosses for Rashford. The ball drops behind the England man and his centre is diverted to a green and white shirt.
33'
United look to put together a little passage of play on the edge of the Yeovil box. The cross finally comes in from the right and then falls for Herrera around 25 yards from goal. He fires an effort over the crossbar.
32'
"What a waste of money.." There it is again. Sanchez shanks a crossfield pass into the stand on the far side.
31'
Yeovil are handed another opportunity to deliver a set-piece at the other end, but this time the cross is far too close to Romero. It's an easy claim.
30'
SAVE! Sanchez curls the free-kick over the wall, but it is a comfortable save for Krysiak. Again, the Yeovil fans enjoy the Chilean's misfortune.
29'
N. Smith gets yellow.
A wonderful dribble takes Sanchez past three, four home defenders before switching a pass to McTominay. The youngster's control is not quite so true, though, and Yeovil recover.
YELLOW! It's a second Yeovil booking. Nathan Smith clatters Sanchez and is deservedly cautioned.
28'
Another Yeovil long throw, this time from the other side. James delivers, but United stand up well once more.
26'
There is not a great deal of variety to Yeovil's play right now. United are encouraging the two home centre backs to take possession and they are taking it in turns to launch hopeful balls into the channels. Lindelof and Rojo are getting to grips with the Yeovil front two.
Superb defending! Sanchez teases a backheel through to Mata on the edge of the box, but James wrestles the Spaniard off the ball and then holds off Rashford to make the clearance.
25'
United go short from the corner and eventually work an angle for Sanchez to cross, but Yeovil clear.
24'
SAVE! What a stop! Carrick turns defence to attack with one motion, tackling and then teeing up a counter. The move ends with Sanchez teeing up McTominay, but Krysiak gets down to a low strike to make the save.
23'
Some miscommunication between two Yeovil defenders lets Rashford get to the ball on the left. Sanchez looks to play a pass in behind to Mata, but Krysiak is alert again.
22'
Good goalkeeping from Krysiak! Rashford dashes beyond James, but the Yeovil number one slides out and guides the ball behind for a goal kick. That could have been awkward.
20'
Rashford looks to have opened up space on the edge of the Yeovil box, but he takes on one man too many. The hosts manage to stab the ball clear.
19'
From the subsequent free-kick, Sam Surridge goes to ground in the area under pressure from Rojo. No foul is given and the United man is not happy. He thinks the centre forward has dived.
18'
The United defence have not dealt well with Yeovil's attack in the early stages. Lindelof needlessly barges the physical Zoko to the ground.
17'
Yeovil similarly falter when they look to pass the ball around in their own half, but a cheap Rojo foul relieves the pressure.
16'
SAVE! Gray delivers and finds Sowunmi, but it's a tame header, straight at Romero. He had to do better there.
This is not the best pitch United will play on this season; it's probably the worst. And they're struggling a little. Herrera gets in down the left, but he undercooks the pass inside to Rashford.
15'
Brilliant from Green! He looks to be sandwiched between Herrera and Darmian but wriggles free and buys a free-kick not far from the edge of the United box...
14'
Sanchez is being booed simply for being Sanchez, it seems. He easily coughs up possession to James, though, and the home fans enjoy that.
13'
And now a corner to United. McTominay nods across goal and Sowunmi hacks clear. Sanchez to take.
Krysiak claims once more. The goalkeeper has made a solid start and a long kick has Yeovil back on the front foot.
12'
Sanchez has been quiet and his cross from the left is no trouble for the home defence. There are tentative chants of "what a waste of money". It might be a little early for that...
11'
United escape, but the ball so nearly dropped for Omar Sowunmi as the corner cleared the near post. The minnows are on top thus far.
10'
Corner to Yeovil! Matteo Darmian is struggling to contain Green, who gets to the byline and forces a cross behind.
9'
The crosses continue to come in from the hosts. Jake Gray's centre is headed away by Rojo, but Romero is required to be alert to pounce on Tom James' dangerous follow-up delivery.
7'
There's a first opportunity for Ryan Dickson to hurl in a long throw from the left, but Scott McTominay stands up well to nod clear. The second delivery is gathered by Sergio Romero.
SAVE! The first chance goes Yeovil's way! Green shows a stunning turn of pace to burst into the area on the left and shoots low, straight at Romero. It was a fairly tame effort, but the hosts can take encouragement from this start.
6'
Big take from Artur Krysiak! Ander Herrera crosses from deep, but the goalkeeper is quick off his line and beats Rashford to the ball.
5'
United have seen their fair share of the ball in their own half, but Yeovil snap into action every time those red shirts cross halfway. The hosts will have to be this organised throughout if they are to keep Sanchez and co quiet.
4'
Jordan Green attacks from the left and cuts inside, but he runs into a team-mate and the pair cannot smuggle the ball beyond Victor Lindelof.
3'
The Yeovil full backs are full of energy, hassling United's wingers as soon as they take possession. The crowd are loving this.
2'
Yeovil are keeping the pressure on with a couple of long balls putting United under pressure, while Sanchez's first touches are booed. It's lively, to say the least.
1'
F. Zoko gets yellow.
KICK-OFF: After a minute's applause for the late former England captain Jimmy Armfield, Marcus Rashford gets us under way!
YELLOW! It's a frantic, frenzied start and after around 10 seconds there's a first card. Francois Zoko, the Yeovil captain, charges at Marcos Rojo and his late challenge is punished with a booking.
Hello and welcome to our live text commentary of the FA Cup clash between Yeovil Town and Manchester United!
League Two strugglers Yeovil will be looking to cause a huge upset here, but much of the focus is on a certain number seven in the United ranks.
Let's get straight to it then, with the team news...
Alexis Sanchez starts for the visitors! The Chilean makes his United debut alongside returning captain Michael Carrick among 10 changes to the side that won at Burnley in the Premier League. Only Juan Mata keeps his place.
For Yeovil, star man and former Old Trafford trainee Otis Khan is suspended as the hosts make two changes.
This quite possibly represents United's last chance of domestic silverware this season and Jose Mourinho, fresh from signing a new contract, will be determined to avoid a shock defeat.
With the return of the Champions League on the horizon, United could do without a replay, too, but they may not have it all their own way against the fired-up hosts, who have won three times at home in the competition already this term.
So, will United's quest for a 13th FA Cup continue into the fifth round? We're about to find out...
With kick-off now not far away, Mourinho has been speaking to the BBC about the debutant Sanchez: "He has had a couple of training sessions with us. Of course, he was not in his best condition as last week he didn't train, he didn't play. But we think the best way for him to return to his normal fitness is to play. He wants to play."
The teams are in the tunnel. Here we go!
A huge roar greets the players as they step out onto the pitch. This should be some cup tie...
Yeovil will be so frustrated to head into the break a goal down, having matched United for much of the first half.
The hosts could not take their chances, though, and the pressure was starting to build - with Krysiak denying McTominay - before the breakthrough came.
Yeovil are still in this one, though. We'll bring you all the second half action shortly...
James had handled Sanchez impressively, but it was Rashford he lost sight of, allowing the United forward to retrieve the ball and finish coolly past Krysiak.
We're just about ready for the second half. Is there any way back for Yeovil? Or can United - on Mourinho's birthday - see this one through?
Yeovil fought hard, but they came up well short of United in the end. The goal just before half-time, through Rashford, was a cruel blow to the hosts' hopes and they paid the price.
Herrera struck the second before substitutes Lingard and Lukaku added a third and a fourth late on. Yeovil struggled to cope with the visitors' all-star attacking line-up in the closing stages.
United are into the fifth round then, while new man Sanchez has his first assist for the club. Mourinho can be happy with that.
That's all from this one. Thanks for joining us and, until next time, goodbye!
