Al Dawsari flies down the left flank on the final attacking move of the game before cutting inside and firing a cross into the penalty area, but it's just about dealt with by Ramos before it can pick out a team-mate.
90' +4
Salem Al Dawsari gets yellow.
Al Dawsari is the latest player to receive a booking after catching Carvajal slightly late as the two players battled for possession.
90' +3
Golden opportunity for Vazquez! A Madrid corner is fired into the heart of the hosts' box and perfectly picks out Vazquez, who is all alone but somehow fires his first-time volley just wide of the near post. He really should have buried that!
90' +1
Great strike by Benzema! The Frenchman heads towards the edge of the Villarreal penalty area and shoots, but his curling effort is brilliantly pushed away by Fernandez before it can find the back of the net.
90'
The fourth official has indicated that there will be four minutes of added time.
89'
T. Kroos gets yellow.
And now Kroos has been handed a yellow card for a cynical foul on Castillejo, who easily got the better of the German after the Madrid man let himself down with a heavy first touch out wide.
Castillejo steps up and unleashes a shot from the free kick, but his low effort fails to get the better of Carvajal at the near post and is comfortably cleared by the defender.
88'
R. Martínez gets yellow.
87'
Martinez flies into Varane and catches the Frenchman with a late challenge, leaving the referee with no choice but to book him.
85'
Samu Castillejo has scored a goal for Villarreal! Assist by Rodri.
That was wonderful vision from Hernandez, but what was Marcelo thinking? The full-back tried to step up instead of following Castillejo, and that left the winger completely alone on the edge of the penalty area.
GOAL! Villarreal have equalised! A lovely pass from Hernandez flies through the middle of the Madrid back line and perfectly finds Castillejo. The substitute is all alone, and he's easily able to round Zidane before poking the ball into the back of the net.
84'
Casemiro gets yellow.
Casemiro is the latest player to enter the referee's book after pushing Gaspar into the linesman as the full-back darted down the right wing. Luckily for the official, he only received a slight arm to the back and was just about able to get far enough away from the fast approaching defender!
Minute
Description
82'
An attempted Madrid attacking move breaks down and Villarreal immediately try to hit the visitors on a counter-attack out wide, but Kovacic is there to dispossess Al Dawsari with a brilliantly timed sliding tackle.
80'
Vazquez quickly cuts inside from the left flank and heads into the penalty area. He then tries to get a shot away but, under pressure from Gaspar, goes down under a tackle and half-heartedly appeals for a penalty.
79'
Álvaro González gets yellow.
Samu Castillejo gets yellow.
Gonzalez charges into Kroos as the German breaks through the middle of the pitch, leaving the referee with no choice but to show him a yellow card.
Meanwhile, Castillejo has been booked as well, presumably for something he said to the referee.
77'
Samu Castillejo enters the game and replaces Pablo Fornals.
Fornals has made way for Castillejo in Villarreal's final change of the night.
75'
Excellent tackle by Casemiro! Martinez goes incredibly close to equalising for Villarreal at the end of another brilliant move from the home side, but Casemiro is there to block the striker's effort with a well-timed, last-ditch interception.
74'
Chance for Benzema! The Frenchman is presented with a good opportunity to break into the right-hand side of the hosts' box and shoot, but his low effort is slightly underhit and fails to cause too many problems for Fernandez.
73'
M. Kovačić enters the game and replaces Isco.
Kovacic has come on to take the place of Isco in Madrid's third and final alteration.
72'
Madrid haven't been at their best since the break and they need to up the tempo of their attacking moves if they're to leave with all three points. Villarreal have done well to get back into the game and now look the more confident of the two sides.
70'
R. Martínez has scored a goal for Villarreal! Assist by Rodri.
GOAL! Villarreal have pulled one back! Martinez has only been on the pitch for a few minutes but he's already found the back of the net with a superb strike. It came at the end of a really good move from Villarreal, and he easily skipped past Varane before beating Zidane with a brilliantly placed shot.
Hernandez sent a clever pass through to Martinez to set up the striker, but Madrid won't be happy with their defending there. They left a pocket of space available to the substitute, who perfectly made it count.
69'
Soriano is tripped over by Marcelo as he heads down the right flank, resulting in a free kick for the home side. They take it quickly and work the ball over to the left wing, but they're put under good pressure and can't quite find a way into the penalty area.
67'
R. Martínez enters the game and replaces E. Ünal.
Villarreal have made their second switch of the game, with Unal making way for Martinez.
66'
Off the line by Ramos! Sansone skips into the left-hand side of the Madrid box and heads along the byline. He then chips a cross straight to Unal, who looks set to score with a header but has it blocked by Ramos.
65'
Madrid almost make it 3-0! A great counter-attack sees the visitors fly down the left channel through Kroos. The German then pokes the ball through to Bale, who sets up Benzema to unleash a first-time shot that's well saved by Fernandez. Bale was slightly offside in the build-up, though, and the linesman's flag was immediately raised as a result.
64'
An excellent cross-field pass is fired over to the right wing, where it finds Vazquez in a great position. The substitute then tries to pick out Benzema with a chipped cross into the box, but Bonera is there to beat the Frenchman to the ball.
62'
K. Benzema enters the game and replaces Cristiano Ronaldo.
Lucas Vázquez enters the game and replaces L. Modrić.
Madrid have decided to make a double substitution. The first player to come on is Benzema, who replaces Ronaldo.
And the second is Vazquez, with Modric making way.
60'
Almost the perfect free kick from Unal! The Turkish forward steps up and unleashes a wonderful curling strike, but it ends up flying just inches wide of the near post after getting the better of Zidane.
59'
Ramos accidentally handles the ball just outside of the Madrid box, and Villarreal are awarded a free kick in a very dangerous position. What can they do with this golden opportunity?
57'
Salem Al Dawsari enters the game and replaces Javi Fuego.
Villarreal have made their first change of the night, with Fuego making way for Al Dawsari, who comes on to make his first appearance for the club.
56'
Gaspar darts down the right wing as he tries to latch onto a bouncing ball near to the byline. He's unable to keep it in play, though, and he ends up fouling Ramos from behind as the two battle for possession.
54'
The home side are enjoying a decent spell of possession at the moment but they're failing to do much with it. They're unable to find a way through the sea of white shirts in front of them and Hernandez eventually shoots, but his audiacous effort fails to trouble Zidane.
52'
Villarreal win themselves a corner over on the left flank and it's whipped towards the near post, but Unal isn't able to control the ball and get a shot away, sending it bouncing behind for a goal kick.
50'
Madrid quickly counter-attack after dealing with the danger and almost carve out a chance on goal through Ronaldo, but Fernandez rushes out to beat the Portuguese to the ball before doing the same to Kroos before the German can shoot from distance.
49'
Excellent save by Zidane! The youngster is forced into making a save for the first time tonight, and he brilliantly pushes Sansone's curling free kick over the crossbar with an acrobatic diving save.
48'
L. Modrić gets yellow.
The yellow card is out already and it's been handed to Modric, who caught Soriano with a poorly timed sliding challenge that sent the Italian crashing to the ground.
46'
We're underway once again!
45'
Madrid attempt to push forward on one final attacking move before the half-time break, but Carvajal's run down the right wing is slightly mistimed and the linesman's flag is raised just as he's about to send a cross into the box.
44'
Unal, who has arguably been one of Villarreal's better players so far, bursts down the left flank and tries to penetrate the Madrid penalty area, but he's dealt with well by Ramos, who gets a foot on the ball to win his side a goal kick.
42'
After spending several minutes on the back foot, Villarreal are finally able to push forward once again. They're unable to take advantage of the counter-attack, though, as Fornals' chipped cross is easily sent away from danger by the head of Ramos.
40'
Great strike by Kroos! The German pops up in a pocket of space and immediately unleashes a rocket of a shot. It's brilliantly hit by the midfielder, but Fernandez is there to palm it over the crossbar with a one-handed diving save.
39'
Another great chance for Ronaldo! A poor piece of goalkeeping from Fernandez results in the ball being dropped to Ronaldo, who quickly unleashes a shot but can't quite hit the target from the right-hand side of the box.
38'
Since going 2-0 down, the heads of the Villarreal players have firmly dropped. Isco is the latest Madrid player to burst into the hosts' penalty area and shoot, but a slight deflection sends it over the crossbar and behind for a corner.
37'
Modric goes close! Villarreal aren't able to clear the danger from the edge of their own box and another chance on goal is carved out by the visitors. Modric's toe-poked effort is a decent one but it ends up clearing the crossbar by a yard or so.
36'
Fornals is dispossessed and Madrid quickly counter-attack once again. Isco and Marcelo link up nicely before the latter tries to find Bale in front of goal, but the Welshman can't quite get his head to the ball.
34'
Madrid comfortably boss possession as they search for a third goal, but this time they're unable to carve out a chance as Marcelo's deep cross sails straight into the hands of Fernandez.
32'
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored a goal for Real Madrid! Assist by Marcelo.
GOAL! Ronaldo makes it 2-0! A lovely chipped pass from Isco flies over to the left-hand side of the Villarreal penalty area and finds Marcelo. The Brazilian then sends a cross right to Ronaldo, who easily finds the bottom right-hand corner of the net with his excellent downward header.
That really was a great delivery from Marcelo, but once again the Villarreal defenders were poor positionally and left Ronaldo in far too much space.
30'
Fornals goes close! The Madrid defence drop off the winger and allow him to get a shot away from the edge of the box, but he sends it just wide of the near post. That didn't miss by much!
29'
Casemiro is the latest Madrid player to try and test Fernandez from long range at the end of another piece of decent build-up play from the visitors, but his 30-yard strike is poorly hit and sails high over the crossbar.
27'
Ronaldo breaks forward once again as he tries to get a shot away, but his run through the Villarreal back line is slightly mistimed and the linesman's flag is raised just as he's about to pull the trigger.
25'
Ronaldo goes down inside the penalty area, but nothing is given! The Portuguese dances his way into the left-hand side of the Villarreal box, but he goes down under a tackle from Gaspar before he's able to shoot. He produces a half-hearted appeal for a penalty, but the referee isn't at all interested and waves play on.
23'
Villarreal come back once again and are this time able to fire a cross into the box through Unal, but Varane is there to easily get on the end of the ball and blast it away before Sansone can reach it.
21'
Villarreal move the ball around nicely inside the Madrid half of the pitch, setting up Fornals to cross. He's unable to do so, though, as he's closed down well by Marcelo and is forced into sending the ball back towards the halfway line.
19'
Zidane is forced into action for the first time this evening after Soriano is able to cut inside from the left flank and shoot, but his bouncing effort is sent straight at the young goalkeeper and is easily collected.
17'
The Madrid set-piece ends with Ronaldo, who has Bale up there with him but instead decides to blast a speculative long-range effort high over the crossbar and behind for a goal kick.
16'
Fornals gets himself into a good position out wide and wins the hosts a corner. It's only able to find Ramos, though, and the centre-back then quickly kick-starts a counter-attack.
15'
Great tackle by Casemiro! Unal breaks down the right wing on a clever run, but before he's able to unleash a cross, Casemiro dives in and excellently dispossesses the Turkish forward.
13'
Despite Madrid comfortably being a goal up, it hasn't been the best of starts from Ramos. The defender has looked really sloppy with the ball at his feet, and on several occasions already he's fired wayward passes away from his team-mates and out of play.
11'
G. Bale has scored a goal for Real Madrid!
GOAL! Bale gives Madrid the lead! A free kick is taken quickly and sent up to Bale, who easily gets the better of two defenders on the edge of the box before firing a great strike into the bottom left-hand corner of the net.
10'
Almost an opportunity for Bale! Ronaldo twists and turns on the right-hand side of the hosts' penalty area before lifting a cross over to Bale. The Welshman rises high but can't quite reach the ball, missing it by the narrowest of margins.
8'
Fernandez is called into action once again, and this time it's from a long-range effort by Ronaldo. The Portuguese unleashes a decent strike but it's comfortably saved by the Villarreal goalkeeper at the near post.
6'
The set-piece is dealt with well by the home side, who then push forward and win themselves a free kick. It's sent short and worked over to Gaspar, who tries to pick out a team-mate in front of goal but completely overhits his cross.
5'
And now Ramos goes close! The centre-back finds himself in a pocket of space 25 yards away from goal and quickly shoots, but Fernandez gets across well to parry the strike behind for a corner.
3'
Early chance for Villarreal! Space opens up for Unal after a poor attempted clearance from Ramos. The Turkish youngster bursts deep into the Madrid half of the pitch and shoots, but he sends his low effort just wide of the far post.

We're off! It's Madrid who get us underway.
Tonight’s clash brings an end to the 2017-18 LaLiga season, and it represents Madrid’s last outing before next weekend’s huge Champions League final. It also presents Los Blancos with a chance - albeit arguably a slim one - of snatching second place in the table from Atletico Madrid, although they’ll need to win this evening and hope their rivals are beaten at home by Eibar.
Good evening and welcome to our live coverage of today’s LaLiga game between Villarreal and Real Madrid at the Estadio de la Ceramica.
Despite there being only seven days to go until their third consecutive Champions League final, Zinedine Zidane has gone with a full strength side as he attempts to end his side’s domestic campaign on a high. The only surprise in the starting 11 is the Frenchman’s son Luca, who is set to make his first ever appearance in the top tier.
Madrid may head into tonight’s game with just one defeat from their last 11 LaLiga outings, but they could be caused some serious problems by Villarreal if this evening’s hosts are at their best. Only Barcelona have managed to beat them since the start of April, and in recent months they’ve managed to get the better of Atletico, Celta Vigo and Valencia.
Madrid will be well aware what happened the last time the two sides met back in January, when Villarreal left the Bernabeu as 1-0 winners thanks to a last-minute goal from Pablo Fornals. Madrid were victorious when they visited the Ceramica last season, but they had to do it the hard way after going 2-0 down at the start of the second half.
There’s just over 15 minutes left to go until kick-off, so let’s have a look at how the two teams will be lining up this evening…
Real Madrid XI (4-3-1-2): Luca Zidane; Dani Carvajal, Raphael Varane, Sergio Ramos, Marcelo; Toni Kroos, Casemiro, Luka Modric; Isco; Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale.
Villarreal substitutes: Victor Ruiz, Denis Cheryshev, Samu Castillejo, Jaume Costa, Salem Al Dawsari, Roger Martinez, Mariano Barbosa.
Villarreal XI (4-4-2): Andres Fernandez; Mario Gaspar, Alvaro Gonzalez, Daniele Bonera, Adrian Marin; Roberto Soriano, Rodri Hernandez, Javi Fuego, Pablo Fornals; Nicola Sansone, Enes Unal.
Real Madrid substitutes: Nacho, Karim Benzema, Theo Hernandez, Lucas Vazquez, Marco Asensio, Mateo Kovacic.
Javi Calleja has decided to make seven changes to the Villarreal side that started the 4-2 win against Deportivo La Coruna last weekend, with Fernandez, Bonera, Marin, Soriano, Fuego, Sansone and Unal coming into the starting line-up to replace Sergio Asenjo, Ruiz, Costa, Manuel Trigueros, Castillejo, Dani Raba and Carlos Bacca, respectively.
Meanwhile, Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has made four alterations to the team that featured in their last outing, with Keylor Navas, Achraf Hakimi, Nacho and Benzema making way for Luca Zidane, Carvajal, Ramos and Ronaldo.
Another impressive domestic campaign for Villarreal means they have successfully qualified for next season’s Europa League, and they're set to end the season in fifth place. They’ve now managed to finish in the top six in each of the last five seasons since winning promotion back to the top flight.
The two sides are making their way out onto the pitch, with just a few minutes to go until kick-off.
HALF-TIME: VILLARREAL 0-2 REAL MADRID
It's all been rather easy for Madrid so far, and they deservedly head into the half-time break with a two-goal lead under their belts. Villarreal have enjoyed a few good moments pushing forward but, overall, have struggled against Zidane's men, who have been too hot to handle in front of goal.
The two teams are making their way back out on to the pitch ahead of the start of the second half. Neither side have made any substitutions during the half-time break.
FULL-TIME: VILLARREAL 2-2 REAL MADRID
That certainly was a very enjoyable game, and it's resulted in a draw that neither side can have too many complaints about. Madrid were excellent in the first half but struggled after the break, resulting in them allowing Villarreal to get back into the contest. The hosts did exactly that thanks to Martinez and Castillejo, who came off the bench to fire in two really well-worked goals.
The slightly disappointing draw means Madrid are set to finish the season in third place, as they needed to win to move ahead of rivals Atletico. However, what Zidane will have been more concerned about was whether or not his stars would be able to come through unscathed. Thankfully for him, they managed to do just that. It means Los Blancos head into next weekend's Champions League final with a full-strength squad to choose from.
