Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Premier League meeting between Chelsea and Liverpool at Stamford Bridge!
This is already the second game between these two this season after Liverpool beat Chelsea on penalties to win the Super Cup in August. Liverpool are looking to continue their perfect start to the Premier League, winning all five of their matches so far, but they come into this game on the back of a defeat after losing to Napoli in midweek. Chelsea are unbeaten in the league since losing their opening match (W2 D2) but also suffered a loss in the Champions League on Tuesday when Valencia beat them 1-0.
CHELSEA STARTING XI (4-2-3-1): Kepa Arrizabalaga; Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen, Fikayo Tomori, Emerson; Jorginho, N'Golo Kante; Willian, Mateo Kovacic, Mason Mount; Tammy Abraham.
CHELSEA SUBS: Willy Caballero, Michy Batshuayi, Ross Barkley, Pedro, Marcos Alonso, Christian Pulisic, Kurt Zouma.
LIVERPOOL STARTING XI (4-3-3): Adrian; Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joel Matip, Virgil van Dijk, Andy Robertson; Georginio Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Jordan Henderson; Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane.
LIVERPOOL SUBS: Caoimhin Kelleher, James Milner, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Xherdan Shaqiri, Joe Gomez, Rhian Brewster, Adam Lallana.
The teams are coming out onto the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away.
Klopp will be pleased with how clinical his side have been in the first half, after scoring both of their shots on target. They haven't really created too many other chances though, so he will want to see an improvement on that after the break. Lampard's frustration at not scoring in the first half was clear and he'll be wanting to see more from his forward players. Abraham has had a couple of good chances but hasn't been able to beat Adrian and if they can get him involved more, they will look more of a threat.
That's all for today, goodbye!
Liverpool stay top of the table and go five points clear of Manchester City once again with that victory. Their attention now turns to the EFL Cup when they travel to MK Dons in midweek. Chelsea drop down to 11th in the table and Lampard will be hoping his side can bounce back when they face Grimsby Town in the Cup on Wednesday.
