Aguero gets the game underway for City!
Hello and welcome to live coverage of the Premier League meeting between Wolves and Manchester City at Molineux!
City have the chance to leapfrog Leicester City into second place if they avoid defeat today after the Foxes lost to Liverpool yesterday. Pep Guardiola's side have won their last four games in all competitions since losing the Manchester derby earlier this month. They face a Wolves side who have lost just one of their last 11 matches in all competitions (W6 D4) and who are looking to do the double over them after beating them 2-0 at the Etihad in October.
WOLVES STARTING XI (3-4-2-1): Rui Patricio; Leander Dendoncker, Conor Coady, Romain Saiss; Matt Doherty, Ruben Neves, Joao Moutinho, Jonny; Adama Traore, Diogo Jota; Raul Jimenez.
WOLVES SUBS: John Ruddy, Ruben Vinagre, Max Kilman, Jesus Vallejo, Patrick Cutrone, Ryan Bennett, Pedro Neto.
MANCHESTER CITY STARTING XI (4-3-3): Ederson; Kyle Walker, Fernandinho, Nicolas Otamendi, Benjamin Mendy; Kevin De Bruyne, Rodrigo, Bernardo Silva; Riyad Mahrez, Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling.
MANCHESTER CITY SUBS: Claudio Bravo, Ilkay Gundogan, Angelino, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Eric Garcia, Joao Cancelo, Phil Foden.
The teams are out on the pitch now, with kick-off just moments away.
Despite the fact that City are leading, Guardiola will not be happy at half-time. They still looked bright after Ederson's red card, but after scoring, they started dropping back and letting Wolves have the ball. He'll want to see more from them after the break to make sure they come away with a win. Wolves haven't used their man advantage yet, having only one effort on target and Nuno will want to see more in the second half.
That's all for today, goodbye!
That win for Wolves means they move up into fifth place in the table, just two points off the top four. It's another tough game for them on Sunday as they travel to league leaders Liverpool. City miss the chance to leapfrog Leicester into second and close the gap to Liverpool at the top. Their four-game winning run is also over and Guardiola will want to bounce back against Sheffield United next time out.
