The teams are out and kick-off will soon be upon us here at The Den.
After a very entertaining opening half of football, Millwall and Everton are level at the break. Cooper had a brilliant chance from a Ferguson set-piece after only nine minutes but he somehow headed wide from a few yards. Everton’s opener came from their first shot on target when Richarlison fired into the bottom-right corner of the net from distance with Archer feeling he perhaps should have done better. Millwall looked destined to go in behind at the break before Gregory brilliantly nodded Cooper’s flick-on over the top of Pickford and into the top corner.
The hosts will look to continue the second half in much the same fashion. They have pressed superbly and worked tirelessly to deny Everton dominating proceedings. Millwall have looked a real threat from set-pieces and that is something that they will look to continue to target. Everton, meanwhile, have struggled to create any clear-cut chances. Coleman has caused problems when he has burst forward down the right-hand side and Everton may look to exploit that space going forward.
Millwall host Rotherham in their next league fixture as they look to continue their recent good form and build on their win today. Everton, meanwhile, will look to bounce back when they travel to Huddersfield in their next Premier League fixture.
That brings an end to our coverage of the FA Cup fourth round fixture between Millwall and Everton at The Den. Thank you very much for joining us. Goodbye!
